DRDO Admin Assitant English Typing Post Code 0502 Interview Questions 2011
Hi guys last month I have given interview for the Admin Asst.(Eng Typing) post in DRDO . The interview was held at Jodhpur , Rajasthan and the Post Code was 0502. There were 7 officer in interview room.
Please note that this is my interview as I've just finished my 12th so the question is based on that. There were many students I also asked them about the interview and I figured out that they were asking the questions mainly from the subjects that you have studied like if you have done B.A then they will ask questions from history,economics etc, if you have pass 12th from science then they will ask physics, math etc .
I am just posting questions that were asked to me.
1. What do you know about DRDO?
2. What is the Economic Capital of India?
3. What was the old name of delhi?
4. Full form of PIN and PAN number.
5. Size of A4 size paper that used in printer, I mean measurment.
6. What is spam folder in mail.
7. What is pc viruses. How we generally protect our pc from them? Name some antiviruses.
8. What is the value of Sin210 (trigonometry) ? Draw on paper.
9. what is the value of
11.Recently launched missile by DRDO? (when this question asked at that time answer was agni IV)
12. What is the difference in Arjun and Brahmos? (1 is missile & other is a tank)
13. Name some laboratory in Delhi DRDO headquarter?
In the last they asked Tell something about yourself. Then one of them ask , You know that we can post you anywhere in india, are you prepared for it ?
This interview was easy as i gave it so i know it.But that not mean that all interview that held on that day for same post were easy as i said earlier question were asked according to your qualification. I saw some guys were very upset because there interview was bad. So prepared well for any exam or interview.
Don't be afraid face any interview with confidence . Best Of Luck for all exam that you will faced.

ReplyDeleteThank you for that informative post. Can you tell me how was the typing test conducted?? Where u allowed to use backspace key?? Or which software was used?
ReplyDeleteThey had given us a paper from which we have to type in computer and yes we can use delete,backspace etc. We had to type on MS word they have made a performa on MS Word in which first we have to fill our name, date etc.
DeleteAfter completion of time they took out the print out of every typing test and took signature on it from candidates.

ReplyDeleteThey give a paragraph , which contain 85% words and rest symbols, numbers all include in that paragraph.

ReplyDeleteYou can be posted anywhere. They asked me this question that ' you can be posted anywhere in India, r u ready for it? ' And time depend on what is your number and in which batch u r. Mine was last batch we had got free around 5 pm.

ReplyDeleteI told already in reply of rahul's question. By the way 35 wpm is requirement for qualifying. I suggest that practice by typing any paper/book page cuz I have seen that all guys do practice on typing tutor but in test u have to type from a paper/page. I remember some guys make mistake in typing as they forgot on which line they were and typed wrong line , after realising the error they deleted line n started typing again and wasted lot of time.

ReplyDeletewhat u mean, you selected for interview but didn't faced interview ? or you asking for interview cut off? By the way if you are asking about cut-off for interview so i don't think their is any fix cut-off for it. It depends on how good you interview and what speed you got in typing test.

I have a question that in typing test what type of passage is given like economic section or the passage from newspaper etc and also the paper given is handwritten or in printed form. Also does they provide any stand to keep the paper standing or you have to put on the table then type.Please share the information it will be highly helpful. I am from dehradun and my test is on 22/may.
ReplyDeleteActually there is no specific subject from which they give passage for typing. Paper is given is printed and there is no standing for paper.

ReplyDeleteBro all u need is speed up your typing , it doesn't matter how u do. I was saying that they will give u a paper from which you will have to type in computer.
Deletebro.. in the call letter for interview it says, the photocopies of eligibility documents should be attested. is it self attested or should it be done by a gazetted officer?

Hi all..my interview panel included four officials and they were quite friendly. I was asked questions on trigonometry, chemistry, management etc. Hope that results would be out by the end of next month.
ReplyDeleteHi guys had a tough time during my interview in Jodhpur. I faced a panel of 5 officials. They asked all questions related to class 12 commerce like accounts and commerce which i had completely forgotten. It was simply not my day then they asked me questions related to my subject like Mass comm and all. Then worst was when one of them posed a maths question which was simply out of my scope. Gosh permutation and combination. I could answer simple questions due to nervousness like chief minister of Orissa and capital of Meghalaya.

Guys just prepared wht u wrote in ur CV. They gonna ask that only and labs of your hometown. All the best. The results will be in July 2014
Hi jolly..that is okay. U just need 50 percent to pass the interview. U never know. For typing test 37 wpm is just fine, and u have qualified. More wpm does not mean that your merit would go up. So all the best buddy.
DeleteThanks buddy for making me feel better as i had goofed even in history questions. This was so different than private company interviews and i came to know where i stand. Just hope for the best and do keep on postings your experiences in other interviews too.

ReplyDeleteActually, they would have called 968 candidates for the interview as there are 121 vacancies and they call candidates in the ratio 1:8.

DeleteThere were about 60-70 people on the day I was interviewed. However, more than half of them were interviewed for the post of store assistant.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the advertisement, they say that 8 candidates would be called for one post. 85% of the marks in the written test and 15% of the marks in the interview would be added up to prepare the final merit list.

ReplyDelete100 questions of english & hindi language both. U have to choose either hindi or english. And the paper is not too hard. It is like ssc.

I called drdo helpline nd they told that tier2 will be held in april mid nd this time we will not get any travelling allowance as there is no interview nd till last year travelling allowance was there for interview..last time typing test was taken in msword we had to type the material given on a paper page in the msword.
